The One That Started It All
In 2012, we partnered with Pencils of Promise to build our very first school. We raised $26,496 from the Impossible community, and it changed everything.
$26,496 raised — 100% of donations went directly to building the school.
Building this school was one of the coolest things we've ever done with IMPOSSIBLE. Seeing the impact firsthand—watching kids who now had a safe place to learn—made us want to do more.
What Came Next
The success of Las Palmas directly inspired the 777 Project—an initiative to run 7 ultra marathons on 7 continents to build 7 more schools.
What started as one school became eight. What started as $26,496 became $193,394+. Las Palmas proved that when you push your limits for something bigger than yourself, impossible things happen.
